Let’s nurture the nurturers

You have poured all your love, attention, and energy to all those around you. To the children you teach and inspire, your little ones for whom you're creating a beautiful childhood, your younger siblings you guide from your past experiences, and all your friends, family members, colleagues, and clients. You are such a caring person and that is beautiful and needed. But you need to also take care of yourself.

Gift yourself an ounce of all the love and care you so freely pour into others. You deserve it and need it. Practice saying no when you really want to say yes but fear they won’t get the help they need. Create a boundary for yourself so you can recharge at the end of the day. Prioritize your to do list and identify what can wait another day or be delegated to someone else.

You know how to nurture others - it’s evident that it comes naturally to you. But why don’t you nurture yourself?

The teacher needs a teacher.

The healer needs a healer.

The nurturer needs a nurturer.

The mother needs a mother.

The friend needs a friend.

The sister needs a sister.

Allow yourself to receive.

Allow yourself to ask.

Allow yourself to be held.

Allow yourself to be supported.

Nurture the nurturer.
